So a little while ago I went on a trip with my friends to a con that I'd never been to before called Alma con held at the Alma College in Alma yeah real creative with the name lol

Anywho this was only the second year that the con had been going on but it was actually a lot of fun, it was kinda rough attending a con during the winter since I went in my Ellis cosplay and we didn't want to carry coats around inside so the walk in always sucked immensely lol

But other than that we had a great time everyone was very friendly and the staff was very helpful and nice and I actually won novice craftsmanship in the cosplay contest for my Ellis cosplay which made me pretty proud since aside from 2D this is really the first cosplay I've "made" but yea I got my picture taken several times and for a little con like that I felt pretty good

Also the rave was great we had a lot of fun and they played some fun music we danced from the beginning to the end non-stop my stamina for dancing has really improved in the last year or so

I wanted to post this on here so that anyone who actually bothers to read these things will know about this fun little con and it will help them get more popular hopefully also I forgot to mention but this is a FREE con so if you're tight on money and live nearby it could be a good opportunity to show off your cosplay or just have a good time with like minded people

Now I just have to wait for JAFAX to come along in the summer I'm gonna try for a artist table again so everybody wish me luck we didn't get in last year and were really pissed about it especially because we didn't bother to work on anything since out of like 6 or 7 of my friends who applied only 2 of us even got on the waiting list at all and I don't think we were even high on the list and then we get to the con and find out that over 9 of the people who got tables didn't show up and they didn't even give the staff enough notice to alert anybody...not cool you guys...you could have at least sent an email as soon as you knew so that other people could have prepared stuff

And this year JAFAX is charging for tables and I think that it is because of what happened last year but I don't know for sure it could just be JAFAX trying to raise a little extra money which is fine since I'm happy to support them if that helps keep the con free for everybody else

So yea that's pretty much all I have to say for right now I just noticed that I hadn't posted a journal in a really long time school has been keeping me insanely busy these last few semesters so yea
